The Company
Ashes into Glass is an award-winning company based at Barleylands Glassworks in Billericay.

For the past twenty years, we have been designing and hand-making bespoke glassware.

During this time, we have acquired the skills and knowledge to add cremated ashes to the raw material of glass, making Ashes into Glass.

The Creation Process

We make Memorial Glass by fusing Cremated Ashes, coloured glass and clear glass together at a temperature of 1100 degrees Celsius. Memorial Paperweights are made with Memorial Glass.

Whilst working with Memorial Glass, we have also pioneered a process to change a concentrated amount of Memorial Glass into a Crystal by cutting, polishing and toughening it. We call these crystals Cremation Crystals™ and they are mounted in our Memorial Pendants and Rings.

Guarantee

Each piece of Memorial Glass is accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity. This is the Glassblower's personal guarantee that your Memorial Glass contains your loved one's ashes. If you would like to be present at our studio when we create your Memorial Glass, this can be arranged.
